i'm not original...i'm true to form...
There was this band in the late 80's-early 90's known as the jesus lizard. when I was about 15 i bought jesus lizard-show...their live record. As much as I love thier studio shit. it is the best record they ever did, in my opionion. I've spent a minute of time tonight watching lizard videos I've seen before. It's funny to me, because there is a resurgence of bands trying to sound like the jesus lizard, and they're great but the idea of any band trying to recreate the jesus lizard is to have a front man...it's weird to me any band would like to try to sound like the jesus lizard and not have the most important part...david yow was such a huge part of that band...snarky comments on life, drunk antics, fucking brilliant. all of my lyrics in my current band have only mildly to do with honesty, but I make my bed...fuck life.
